Poz Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 Hi guys! First time i've done this! I've owned my Westy since Feb this year and have only just got round to signing up, so now that I have, I though I'd say hello! Got my dark blue, 2.0 Pinto from a guy in West Hallam, Derbyshire, drove it over summer, now Tax & MOT has run out so its currently sat in the garage covered up! Until the spring!!! Dont know if any of you know the car? Best do some more work! Cheers!! Quote
Poz Posted December 13, 2004 Author Posted December 13, 2004 Nice one my first reply Cheers! I will probably be on here quite a bit because I'm not the most mechancically minded person in the world, and im sure something else will go wrong with the motor! Quote
SteveRST Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 Hi Poz, Got my Westy in May this year, and it seems we both got lucky and chose the best engine type; Pinto of course. LOL! My car wishes I'd tuck it up for the winter, but no way... Its gotta work for its keep! steve Quote
adhawkins Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 I will probably be on here quite a bit because I'm not the most mechancically minded person in the world, and im sure something else will go wrong with the motor! In that case you'll want our fantastic value for money club membership then. A snip at (something like) 25 quid a year. Best 25 quid I've spent in a long time. Welcome Andy Quote
neilwillis Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 Welcome Poz, Andy's right, the club is well worth joining. Cheap track days, great calendar (so I'm told), discount insurance, quality merchandising, to name but a few of the benefits. Quote
