MARSDALEBEAR Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 On Autotrader:Westfield Formula 27 and Westfield Tiger!!!! Quote
SteveRST Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 Manufacturers of other Seven type cars... Tiger Cars and Formula 27 here. Maybe listed like that 'cos AutoTrader don't have a category for them or maybe they are cashing in on the good Westfield name! hehehe, not called them Caterham Tigers or Caterham Formula 27. steve Quote
Blatman Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 Or maybe they're cashing in on internet advert searches where Westfields are more common that the other two, and canny sellers know that. Lets call it the ebay effect, where people add extra names or descriptors to advert titles so that their goods come up on more than one search. AFAIK, all Autotrader ads get put on the net as well as on paper... Quote

steppenwolf Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 where people add extra names or descriptors to advert titles so that their goods come up on more than one search. This is the most likely cause - I've seen this many times, normally when sellers have a crap item but want to pull in viewers by grabbing their attention with a quality brand. I reckon in this case it is a compliment to Westfield that the sellers chose 'our' brand as the puller Can't imagine why they didn't use Caterham Quote
Stevo Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 Adding: L@@k also helps to sell products... Apparently Quote
