Hi all,

Need to reduce my phone bill on internet connection and was thinking of signing up with Wanadoo anytime, has anyone had any experience with them? What are they like?

Dial up or Broadband?

Has to be a dial up service as I live in the sticks and have no broadband connection.

I use Freeserve/Wanadoo Anytime dial up; works OK, no connection probs, dunno if any others are better or worse. Like the drains, it works and you don't notice it - until it stinks! :p

I've freeserve/wannadoo pretty good really connection fails sometimes.

Best bit is got it on a free trail from about 5 years ago. no charge free off peak number etc. It was only supposed to be for a month we haven't paid a penny for 5 years now even phone up to complain about the connection and get the engineer out.

I think they've cottend on now though as they keep cutting us off.  :D

Never mind with the money I've saved I can easily afford broadband.  :t-up:

on dial up had no problems for about 3 years broadband is finally available in my area (about time BT) live out of town so check with BT anyone got any good deals/surgestions for broadband ISP still looking round.

512k unlimited.  Free for first 2 months (if you sign up before Xmas) and then £16.99 per month.  Good service so far.

Agree with Pipex, not had one problem with them in over 1 1/2 years.

What ever you do avoid AOL !!!!!  :D  :D

I'll have to mention Eclipse Internet, as my brother started the company  :t-up:

I'm sure they provide excellant service as well

No problems with Wanadooddoodoodoo in a year. May move up to BBand soon though :t-up:  :p

I'am on Wanadoo broadband 1.0mbs £17.99 per month , seems very good to me , although it is limited too 2gb (I think) download . :)
