GWatson Posted November 27, 2004 Posted November 27, 2004 I know it's a few years old now, but got it from play.com for £11.99. Watched it last night, certainly inspires you to build your own car... looks a piece of p1ss , although I am not sure it's that easy in real life mind you, maybe one day I'll find out. Does that car belong to anyone on here now? or anyone from here actually on the DVD? G Quote
timd Posted November 27, 2004 Posted November 27, 2004 It really is that easy to build one. They had some assistance from the factory in various areas, such as pre-drilled bodywork etc, but it's not rocket science throwing a kit together! Quote
jak Posted November 27, 2004 Posted November 27, 2004 It really is that easy to build one. Hmmm, I think others on here might disagree with you on that John Quote

deano.1 Posted November 27, 2004 Posted November 27, 2004 I can see that if you bought a full kit from the factory everything would bolt together nicely and i think the build would be relativley straight forward, however a lot more time is consumed when you are either reconditioning donor parts or wavering slightly from the norm! You can also buy kits where the ally panels have been fitted along with brakes, suspension etc which also saves a lot of time. Quote

Thats the easiest bit of the whole build Mind you the rest isn't that taxing either. I gather a westfield is a lot easier to put together than a dax too Quote
Keith Scarfe Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Does that car belong to anyone on here now? or anyone from here actually on the DVD? I was on it. Right at the end, last episode, he entered a race at Croix in France. It was a double header race in the BARC series. I won both those races and was interviewed for the program. Please form an orderly queue for autographs. Quote
