JonnyBoy Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Dad has had an MSN email account for yeas now (****@msn.com) msn dissolved the dial up isp service a number of years ago however, the msn email address was still available through hotmail. This, however has now gone tits up, he can no longer sign into msn mail from either the computers at home or the compters at work. I have tried to find if anything has changed at msn, but have been unable o get any result. Does anyone have any idea what may of changed? or another way into msn mail? The error is: Hotmail does not support the .NET Passport you are signed in to. Visit the Hotmail Web site for information or to set up a free account. TIA Quote
neilwillis Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Hotmail has just had a big shakeup, there's a hotmail.co.uk service, and they've just increased the free storage capacity to 250mb. I reckon as part of that the old .msn service has been ended. Not a lot of use if you have to change your e-mail address, so fairly typical for Microsoft! Quote
