I think perhaps that address would be better in a PM, rather than open to the world....

Well it's open to the whole world in "Which Kit?" this month  :p  :p

Al last! Someone has mentioned Europe.

What is 13 miles long, 73 bends, no speed limits or cameras,  costs 14Euros per lap and is on my list of 50 things to do before I die!

Nurburgring Nordschleife!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take a peek at www.nurburgring.org.uk

SKCC went there 5 years ago, fantastic 4 days.

Even better now we can jump on a ferry at Rosyth!

Anyone up a it?

Paul.

Darren,

would love to hear your V8 mmmmmm

Graeme

Graeme,

Sounds like there is some momentum building up here for events as a whole, but like you say we'll have to have a get together in the spring and see who else wants to come along.  I'm sure we could come up with a good location up this way.

count me in if I get a wiring loom back in

Hopefully Megajolt fitted as well  :xmas:

For an epic day try this ( make sure your seats are comfy and dont forget to fill up when you can!!!;)

Elgin - Grantown - Balater - Perth - Lochearnhead - Tyndrum - Fort Bill - Invergarry - Inverness ( down the south side of loch ness via B851)

Gives a round trip of nearly 3 tanks of petrol and a few aches.

But well worth it 40 boring miles and 300 ish of roads made for westies

Word of warning. Mind your speed down from Glenshee, past 's elbow, there are a few oportunities to get air then loose your sump.

Likewise long straight 1/2 way between Fort Augustus and Whitebridge, near the end of the straight theres a dip, rise, rise combo which had the sump tray from my mates 944.

A top day out. :D (or 3 if you live in Plymouth)  :p:D

Hi all,

I am new to the Westy scene having bought an XE powered SEiW a couple of months ago (in partnership with a friend) - both of us are Glasgow based.  Our plans are also to do some track-days, sprints and hillclimbs so we would certainly be up for the suggested activities.  Would be good to meet up with the rest of the Scottish contingent.

Hi Guys

Add me to the newcomer list as well. I've got a Zetec engined 1800 thats just raring to go! I'm based near Selkirk, with some great driving roads literally on my doorstep!

One of the things on my "to do" list is to get the engine properly mapped. I've got Jenvey throttle bodies with an MBE ECU. I wondered if anyone could recommend a rolling road facility that might be able to do the job? They seem pretty hard to find!

Looking forward to meeting you over the coming months

Neville
