Hi,

My Westy's tax is up the end of this month and it's getting tucked up in the garage. Suspect mine is not alone.

Does anyone want to meet up over the winter period?

Suggest, if there is any interest, that we meet up for a curry and a chat.

For next year.  Appart from the runs, is there anything else you want to do.?

Here are some of my suggestions:

(1) Visit to Daftech in Dalgety Bay for a session on the Rollers

(2) Trackday at Knockhill or other circuit.

(3) Summer (Aug) run up north or west cost over a weekend

Hi Paul,

I've had  my Westfield for almost a year now, I've not participated in any of the club events purely because it is over 100 miles just to get there from Aberdeen.

However, I would be prepared to travel that for a track day next year. A run up north (west for me), perhaps over Glenshee and the Lecht would also be good.

Hi,

Forgot to mention the SKCC meeting on Monday 29th Nov at 7:30 for 8 at the Grangemouth Rugby Club.

Last meeting of the year and we will be showing some videos that have been taken at events during the year.

All welcome. If you need directions, let me know.

Hi All,

I'll be up for some spring-summer outings and track days.

I hope to compete in some hill climbs and circut sprints so interested in going with other like minded people.

However I'm in Aberdeen so a bit far to travel if all the meets are towards the borders.

Cheers Nick

Nick,

I competed in the Angus Classic Rally again this year, starting at Edzell and working our way up to Alford and back.  Some fantastic roads.

With your local knowledge I'm sure it would be worth while making a day out of it and heading in your direction.

There is also a Trackday (may be to posh a description, it's more a "run what you brung") at Edzell Airfield.

So hopefully meet up at somepoint.

I'm up for some meetings and trackdays next year.  Like NickBS I am further North (Elgin) so will mainly be looking for any events/blats further North.  Aberdeen area works for me, as does anything in the Highlands.

Guys,

My mate just called to say there is an advert in this months "Which kit?" mag near the back for a guy in Kemney (15 miles from Aberdeen) wanting to start a Grampian kit car club and possible open some sort of shop for kit cars. Will check it out and give him a call.

Watch this space!

Aparently, for the last 18 months, this guy has had an ambition to provide for the kit car scene in the north east and is looking at setting up a kit car and accessory shop. (called 'Gear-Up';) and a Grampian Kit Car Owners Club. Before he invests his money in the shop etc, he wants to hear from other kit car owners in the area to determine interest.

They don't give a phone number or e-mail address but his details are:
