It seems that hotmail.co.uk is now alive and active, I've not only managed to register what I wanted (thanks for the tip off  :t-up: ) but I've now been able to log in and use it properly and everything  :t-up:  :t-up:

It says you have 10 days from your registration to log in to validate your account, so if you have registered the name but not properly logged in yet, go do it...
