What is the format with these events? I am fairly new to Westfields and want to do some track days next year.  I live fairly local to Oulton Park and wondered if it is possible/allowable to turn up and have a look around and a chat to some of the more experienced track dayers.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Just roll up at the gate and drive in,as far as I know ,

sometimes have to pay an entrance fee if yer unlucky .

you wont be allowed in the paddock but might see other 7s around, maybe there myself .

I'm nr warrington    :)

Sorry to contradict Bernie, but you will be able to wander around the paddock, get onto the pit lane/straight chat to people. best place to watch when you've done all that is the far side of Knicker Brook, go across the foot bridge and turn left until your adjacent to the chicane, that's where the fun will be, although in this weather it's usually fun on any bend at the Park :D

Spin counter

Bob 1, John 1.

Bob's was at Druids. That was the slipperiest bend on the circuit, partially due to the amount of mud on the road after Bob's spin.

John's spin was at the bottom of the Avenue, two wheels on the grass and two on the tarmac is not good. Luckily a passing pack of hunting dogs brought out the red flag.

Highlight of the day was passing a Testarossa into Island Bend.
