adhawkins Posted August 17, 2003 Posted August 17, 2003 Hi all, Back from a week in sunny North Wales with the Westy. Had a top time. Managed 30 MPG on the drive up (but it was far too hot. Had to stop every 20 miles or so to cool down in the tin-top! ), and included a trip to my mother's place (nephew Ben was suitably impressed) and a 'tour' of Anglesey. Some nice piccies (thanks to mate Roy Greason for the 'stitching' of the big image - he does custom stitching if anyone is interested) available here. Seeing how well they've come out, I wish I'd taken more now. Andy Quote

gregh Posted August 17, 2003 Posted August 17, 2003 sorry to p*ss on your mates strawberries, but my Canon IXUS does stitching out of the box! (as they say) Sydney cricket ground as shot by a camera numptie! Quote
adhawkins Posted August 18, 2003 Author Posted August 18, 2003 andy is it just the pics? or does your bonnet not fit very well? To be honest, I'm not sure. Haven't seen enough other Westy's to compare it with. It does seem to 'stick out' on one side by a few millimetres... Andy Quote
adhawkins Posted August 18, 2003 Author Posted August 18, 2003 sorry to p*ss on your mates strawberries, but my Canon IXUS does stitching out of the box! (as they say) Yeah, I think my Olympus does it too (as long as you have a 'special' SmartMedia card in it). However, that only gives a 1 row stitch, for 'good' panoramas, (apparently) you need to take 2 or three rows and stitch them vertically too... Andy Quote
