AVO Shocks/Springs

Hi Everyone,Just replaced the dodgy Spax rear shocks and springs on my pre-lit.I took everybody's advice and got in touch with Andy at CAT and asked about the AVO's.That guy is really helpful and super quick with sending them out (Thanks Andy).

Tackled the job this morning, finished it in about 2 hours and the car has been transformed.I went for slightly softer springs, about 150lbs,for general road use.Andy -Andoid,don't worry about the job,I found on my pre-lit that I did not have to remove the body or drill holes, although it is a tight squeeze to get at the top mounting bolt.Luckily mine(top bolts) withdrew inwards and made the job relatively easy.If they come out the other way,you might have to drill a couple of holes as jbryan26 suggested. It also makes it much easier if you take out the boot/luggage compartment. As for the AVO's they seem far superior to the Spax and I am really pleased with them,So Thanks again for all the info about them.

The car is running great at the moment and the Lotus engine makes a fantastic noise,Love it.I will be joining the club shortly and no doubt asking for more advice soon,All the Best Carl
