markg Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 how long is it usually before your no-claims expires? my westfield is insured with footman james, no claims bonus does not apply to this policy! i have 8 years no claims and it might prove cheaper to insure an old landrover i have, just to keep my ncb? markcoopers Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 Beyond a year old I found it difficult for a lot of companies to honour the NCD. However alot took my word for it, saying that proof would only be needed in the event of a claim. I guess this gives that a big hole to worm out off when you need them, so best ask and check/get in writing. Quote
S8ight Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 you should be able to use it after about 2 years still, after that youre on dodgy ground. although you will find some companys will take the time with FJ towards your NCB Quote
