All.

A good response - 13 people have confirmed their attendance.

The Bird In Hand appears to be the most favoured and logical. I've therefore confirmed our details with the manageress and we'll have our own dining room. Details below.

Date: Sunday 12th December

Time: Arrive at Bird In Hand as normal; 12:00ish midday

Meal: Sit down for 1pm

Menu: Restaurant can simply take our individual orders on the day; including 2-course or 3-course as well as fish and other veggie options.

The following are confirmed as attending (apologies if I've incorrectly assumed marital status etc);

Kevin Wood & wife

Shaun and Andrea Lawry

Colin and Natalie Sharp

Mark and Sue Hall

Justin and Karen

Del? & wife? (Justin to confirm their attendance)

James Lambert

Neil & Jane Hatton

Peter Osborne?

The restaurant have asked for a deposit of £5-a-head. As I can't make November's meeting I suggest cheques are sent to me in the post where I can take them as one batch to the Bird - only live 10 mins away (plus excuse for a pint).

Cheque payable to:

The Bird In Hand

My address:

Neil Hatton

29 Marathon Close

Reading

Berks RG5 4UN

The room and table can take a maximum of 20 people, so if there are any other takers then please let me know beforehand to avoid disappointment on the day.

Cheers,

Neil

I might be up for this though the missus would probably rather slash her wrists than spend time in a confined space with a load of petrol heads!!!!

:D

I'll let you know as soon as I can organise something for the wife & kids to do..... ;)
