Bananaman Posted October 19, 2004 Author Posted October 19, 2004 and the time between rebuilds should be over 30 hours Blimey! That's one highly tuned motor. I think it's what's known as a RACE engine....... Quote
Ian Podmore Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 And it would give you in the region of 688 bhp/tonne Lovely spread of torque as well Quote

Rob Navin Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 PAH! its okay if you want lots of power revs and torque.but really who here wants that sort of cr@p X-flow drivers? Andy Ohhh Is that the sound of a p******** contest starting. How about I take my old X-flow to the rev limiter and we record that and then jump in your new car, turn the rev limiter OFF and take the VX to the same revs. Once you have got the V5, obviously I will let you off with the power and torque figure for now but we will see what Santa brings for next year Quote
Blatman Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Torque? Pah. It only *just* makes more than the Cossie, and only for about 3500rpm. So it revs to 10,000rpm. So what? Never could understand the reasoning behind wanting to reach 5 figure rpm speeds... Quote
