mb893 Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 Just took my neighbor for a blatt... 40 minutes worth of twist country lanes and what does he do when we get back? Complains that the constant grinning has caused his face muscles to hurt.... what a B*stard, moan moan moan. Too much beer I know, but made me giggle. Quote
Liam Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 My neighbour is a white haired lady of 85 in whose lovely empty garage I built and keep my Westfield (my garage if full of no.1 sons mountain bikes and assorted cr*p) She desperately wants to go out in it. Anyone got a crane I could borrow. Quote
Boxy Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 I took my mum to bingo in mine once when she missed the bus Quote
oldman Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 I took me 89 year old dad for a spin in mine.....is this a record (No I don't mean who sang that) Quote
chappers Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 Took my Nan out for spin when she was 83. First time she tried to get in we did end up with a left leg still hanging outside the car..couldn't stop laughing. Took a lot of effort to get her back out, but she did enjoy it....well at least the bits where we went in a straight line.... Quote
darren.cudd Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 took my boss who is 38 out in mine and he hated it spent the whole time thinking he was going to die and i was driving very very sensibly Quote
Nick.Petty Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Took me Mother and Mother in Law out around the block on Mother's day after they had had lunch at mine... Mother was fine, she's a little slim lovely lady. Mother in Law a bit ..ahem.. wide around the girth - she ended up with the left cheek in the seat and the right cheek perched on the tunnel.... Watch out for that handbrake ........ Took 88yr old Grandad out, he can hardly walk or see. I asked him did he want to pootle down the road or did he want me to give it "maximum attack". he said the latter so I did. The photo of him and me in the car when we got back is now by the side of his bed. Proper bloke my Grandad. Nicko Quote
