Blatman Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 The engine specs are largely irrelevant. JP can drive... Quote
bikerush Posted September 27, 2004 Author Posted September 27, 2004 only wanted to know a bit more about him...just doing me homework.... Quote
Mark Stanton Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 As Blatman says - it's irrelevant the engine spec on Johns Puma 1700 - You'll be driving against one of the most experienced and best drivers around Use him as a benchmark There are quite a few drivers of bigger CC engines that do Give the driver the utmost credit and respect - its not all about BHP Quote

skid Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 There all like that most of the time ,they are all in need of a long thread, not just a straight answer. good luck Quote
Mark Stanton Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Anyone hear anything Nope nor me Quote
Rob Navin Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Dave John's puma is a very high spec unit that has lots of power and tourque. If he is around at an event have a chat to him and he will porbably tell you most of the engine spec himself. As the other guys have said though the power or spec of the car is not what makes John quick. He has been driving rear wheel drive cars fast since they were invented ( or nearly ) and has a superb driving standard and skill. Its great to want to take the battle to him but dont be too dissapointed if you dont beat him in your first year. All the best mate Quote
