samcooke Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 A certain well known dealer in second hand sevens (not Westicles) says no one wants them at the moment. Certain prices are 20% lower than three months ago. Cars seem to be hanging around on the for sale pages here and other places. What gives? Quote

James Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 The whole economy is slowing and sevens are luxary items that people can do without, as such its not suprising that the market has slowd Where i live council tax has gone up water rates have gone up and the morgages continue to rise is it any wonder why nobody wants them? samcooke Posted September 25, 2004 Author Posted September 25, 2004 Property market is fine at the mo. People selling like to believe it's booming, people buying like to believe it's dropping. It's doing neither. Right price still sells it, in carrot crunching East Anglia at least. Quote
Mat Jackson Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 Sam, Seen your Avatar a few times, what car is that? Quote
perksy Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 Well this time last year i couldn't find a secondhand westy, seemed to be more buyers than sellers. This year it's the exact opposite It's the worst summer on record and that ain't helped at all Still there's always next year Quote
neilwillis Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 It depends on whethere you're buying or selling - if you're selling it'll be a buyer's market and vice versa - it's all clearly laid down in Murphy's law, with later amendments as described in Sod's law. Quote
