Caterfields In Video Game?

Just had a quick look at the website for a fantastic driving simulator project called Live For Speed and it seems that they have added a Seven to their repertoire of vehicles!

Personally, I think it looks most like a Westie with a V8 bonnet (minus side vents) - what do you guys reckon?

Edit: These guys are keeping licensing costs down by not including 'real' cars, so it isn't meant to be modelled on a specific marque

thats a westy.

look at sloping arches, smaller nose hole, westy post lit bonnet, and repeaters not directly under the headlamps!

It looks a little (to me) c******m have allowed their name for a Westfield.

I'll watch out for you when playing (mainly UK servers)

My reg plate is H1 PPY

I guess the Cateringvan/Westi isn't in the beta versions ??? but only the full game.

Yeah - I understand that it will only be available in the first release, which you must pay for.....

No sorry, they've all got their hoods up. Therefore they must be Yuppies protecting their carefully quoffured (sp?) hairdo's...yuppies only buy C.aterhams  :D  :D  :D

Some of us dont actually have any hair to start with

And I've seen more Cateringvans with aeroscreens than I have Wetfields

Interestingly enough, I don't think I've ever seen a c******m with an aeroscreen. Loads of Westy's though.

Maybe we are both blinkered then     ;)

OK, the first instalment of the game Live For Speed has been released, with the Caterfields included, and it has received a heavy deal of praise, so I think I will go ahead and buy it, as the demo was rather good. It's £12-00 and you can only buy it online. As with most decent driving games, a steering wheel is pretty essential to get the most out of it. You can even paint your car to look like your Seven - cool!

Apologies for the big piccies, but they are too pretty!

The LX6 : We've added some new screenshots on our site, including some of the new LX6 - the quickest car in the S1 release. Being a lightweight car with a powerful engine, the LX6 has great acceleration and quick steering, resulting in having superior laptimes compared with all the other cars available. We must point out that although we originally said that a more powerful rwd car would be included, at that time we weren't exactly sure which kind of car it would be. When we had decided on the LX6, we changed that text to "a quicker rwd car", because in fact the LX6 has less absolute power than the turbo car, but is faster in all situations on the the track.

It's really fun to drive, and takes some concentration to handle! :)

...is what the website says about the LX6 (which is the caterfield in the screenshot).

Also,  boomtown (the hosters) sound reminiscent of GPL for some reason.

Just gotta get a 1Ghz machine now  ???
