Puma 1700 all steel RWD engine

Currently fitted to Westfield (Can be tested). Over 200bhp 146ft/lb torque. Based on S1600 rally engine. Swindon special parts, cams, sump, drive pulleys etc. All steel internals, forged piston. 8 injector setup with Jenvey SF bodies. Flywheel and 7.25 inch racing clutch. Exhaust manifold. Only used for 9 sprints and hillclimbs. £4995. ECU, loom and engine mounts possibly available. 07798775981

Mine used to rev to 8250. I think Mr Palmer found some more somewhere.

Unfortunately my rebuild is 70% complete else I would have been very interested.

I think we took it to 8600 on the dyno, wouldnt be afraid of 9000 in short bursts. Max power was around 7800. Mk2 version is under way, hence the sale.
