Calling Cidersurfer

Scott pre-lit

Recommended Posts

Cidersurfer,

Have noticed your aluminium bonnet and wondered where you got it from? I have a pre-lit with a sagging fibreglass bonnet in need of replacement this winter. An aluminium jobby will look the business and add to the 'classic' look of my early car.

Cheers

Scott

There is a company in Liskeard (cornwall) called MPH Panels   (01579 345914) who said they could make one when I made enquiries last year, they reckoned approx £150, they fabricate one off panels for the classic car market and do a cracking job by all accounts.

Unfortunately I don't know the history of my bonnet as it came with the car and there's no 'evidence' of it in the build folder. It's definately handmade though, as the setting out lines are still visible on the underside of it.

Doug's sounds like a bargain at £150. ???
