Luke_Eliasz Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 I'm wanting one, i'll have a hard time persuading my mum but its never stopped me trying. I will probably want a 50cc engine and will spend £175<, i'm wanting one like this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws....c=photo Does anyone know some good websites that have classifieds for those types of bikes? EDIT: also it doesnt have to be road legal, as i'm too young to ride it on the road anyway, but i've seen that road legal ones usually cost more. Quote
Blatman Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Don't bother with a 50cc bike for off roading. It won't have enough power to do any serious trail riding, and it also won't have enough power to get you out of trouble *when* you find it all going wrong... If you want to ride off road, get a decent 250 4 stroke, and some decent body armour. I've been a biker for 23 years, and I've done my fair share of off roading although to be fair, I haven't done any for a few years. It hurts too much... Quote

Blatman Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Watch it you I can still hold my own on the road though. There aren't many bikers who can keep up with me during the rush hour.... Quote
