Mark Stanton Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 A 1976 Westfield Chris smith would have been merely a young lad then surely not 1976 Quote
dac3774 Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Ebay Yeah its an 88 - pre lit? It was the £15.5k bit that I fell off my seat at! Quote
Blatman Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 It may be registered as a 1976 vehicle to avoid import or registration issues. Switzerland has some of the toughest car regs in Europe, IIRC... It's a crossflow though, so clearly worth no more than about 48p and a conker.... Quote
Mrs Westy Posted September 9, 2004 Author Posted September 9, 2004 Huh? Where did the first post go and why? I didn't start this topic Quote
stu999 Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Rob, do you have some form of 'homing' device that informs you of any thread that mentions Xflow? Quote
Rob Navin Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Rob, do you have some form of 'homing' device that informs you of any thread that mentions Xflow? YUP. I get a e-mail when ever the word X-flow is mentioned or when blatters posts something funny. Good job we talk about x-flows a lot or I'd get no e-mails Quote
Rob Navin Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Huh? Where did the first post go and why? I didn't start this topic No idea where the first post has gone Mrs W. But to me it looks as though you have just told your husband to go and buy a narrow bodied westy with a historic registration that is fitted with a x-flow. Just to make thing better you have told him to spend 15k on it. WE NEED TO TALK I HAVE WHAT YOU WANT Quote
Mrs Westy Posted September 9, 2004 Author Posted September 9, 2004 To the first post: Is it wrong that I found that funny To the second post: I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're trying to get at Quote
Mrs Westy Posted September 9, 2004 Author Posted September 9, 2004 Hee hee this has become cross post/edit city. This could become terribly confusing, especially after some very tasty wine courtesy of stint for the loan of a calliper Quote
Rob Navin Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Ah wine ...... Not through a straw again ? Quote
Mrs Westy Posted September 9, 2004 Author Posted September 9, 2004 Not when at home, far too slow Nearly all gone now, though Quote
v7slr Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 There was a Swiss chap on the Se7ens list tour of Europe (grand title for France and Switzerland). He acknowledged that the cost of Se7en-type vehicles was disproportionately expensive in Switzerland. Perhaps his price is indicative of what other Swiss citizens would have to pay? Given that he paid more money for a fairly standard VVC engined Caterham than a well-spec'd SLR at that time, I'd say 15K for a mint pre-lit might not be quite so daft. My comment... what's all that sideways photography all about? Quote
Rob Navin Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Nearly all gone now, though Nice to see that your playing an ongoing role in propping up the world wine producing industry Keep up the good work Mrs W. Quote
