langy Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 Random question time .. i have a picture on my PC as a wallpaper (no it's not rude, honest) and is named within the display properties as 'Internet Explorer Wallpaper'. I want to get this picture and be able to edit / print it within photoshop. Where would i find this file on my PC ?? Have searched but to no avail Any idea's ? Quote
Tigger Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 Hiya Langy, If you have Windows 2k or XP then try looking in C:\Documents and settings\"Your profile name"\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ You should find the file called "Internet Exporer Wallpaper" in there Alternatively: Right click your desktop Click on Properties Click on the Desktop tab at the top Click Browse This will take you to the place where the picture is stored Hope that helps Tigger Quote
Mat Jackson Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 If you wallpaper your windows you wont be able to see out................ Quote

Maybe it'd be easier to take another photo Quote
DavidR Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 Langy, when you say "not in there", did you actually get to look in the folder ...../Internet explorer for the file? or did you have a problem finding the folder? Could it be a hidden file? On windows explorer , go into tools menu, then the view tab and tick show hidden files. ok and get out etc. The method described above works for me. Quote
