Blown exhaust manifold gasket.

Has anyone out there in the Worcestershire area got a spare set for a x flow? Willing to travel with beer tokens waiting!

you could get the standard ford ones.Should be in stock,as they are the same as the Valencia KA engine.If you use the large bore version for a cooking x flow,then just gently cut them a bit bigger and then order some large bore ones from Burtons (2 sets)

Should have enough time to get it sorted, tanked up then over to the rollers (hopefully)

Forget the Burtons ones... they are no good, lucky if they last 1000 miles (centre gasket especially). As Blatters says, the copper faced ones from The 7 Workshop are superb. They are expensive but worth every penny as you will probably only ever need one set for as long as you keep the car

Will get in touch with the 7 workshop, quick fix for tomorrow then it will be sorted properly.
