Perywinkle Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Right, so i've got this old BSA sitting in the garage that used to belong to my grandfather before he passed away. And am looking to sell it. Don't suppose anyone hear is interested in or knows anything about vintage bikes? Having a hard time trying to get a price for it as they seem a bit rare. It's a 1929 BSA 500 sloper. It's in realy good nick, my grandfather used to restore vintage cars/bikes and it has won several shows...It's all running but the nickel plating on the fishtail pipe is a little spotted in places. Thanks Ben Quote
BuzzinRich Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 My girlfriends father is into vintage bikes, has a couple of prewar greaves - I'll ask him who the dealers are that he uses and see if I can get some info for you... are their any classic bike mags in WHSmiths or anywhere which might give an idea of value? taffy Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 I think the HQ of one of the Vintage Motorcycle Clubs is based in Burton on Trent. Rob Quote
DavidR Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 How about trying the BSA Owners Club? BSA Owners Club On the page above it says they accept adverts for "For Sale" by email for their club mag, and gives the impression that you don't have to be a member to advertise. David Quote
