Matt Crisp Posted July 25, 2004 Posted July 25, 2004 I'm planning to go to Hullavington on the 20th August. Anyone from South Brum/ Worcester going. Not been B 4. Any experiences?? Matt Quote
adhawkins Posted July 25, 2004 Posted July 25, 2004 I went there once last year. It was a top day, really enjoyed the circuit they'd laid out. Motorsport Events are generally a good organiser, the problems I had with the driving of some of the others there were all sorted out quite efficiently. Just make sure your car will easily pass the noise test, it's no fun turning up to be told you can't play Andy Quote
JasonR Posted July 25, 2004 Posted July 25, 2004 I will see you there on the 20th Hopefully the weather will be dry - I went to Hullavington twice last year and both times it was pretty damp. Like Andy says it is worth checking the noise level of your car before you go as Motorsport Events have tightened up on this aspect of their days. I think the current limit at Hullavington is 100db. Jam Posted August 10, 2004 Posted August 10, 2004 Matt/Jason, Should also see you there. I'm just waiting for a Level meter to arrive from bookatrack to make sure i'm not too loud. The exhaust is nothing fancy so it should be ok. here's hoping... Quote
sjtoolan Posted August 10, 2004 Posted August 10, 2004 Booked my place yesterday so I'll be there too. Simon. Quote
davidgh Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 Did something today one should never do -- gave a lovely lady (in this case, Tasha) my credit card number So we'll also be there. Decent weather please Quote
worzel Posted August 12, 2004 Posted August 12, 2004 I went last month, and had fun The mentioned young lady allowed me to 'just turn up', 'cos I wasn't sure of the weather or whether I'd pass the noise test. It didn't rain, so once I'd passed the noise test, I paid up and let rip A well organised, friendly event. Steve Quote
