Had the car on the road for 3 years

Ughhh - most of you are in your 30's ...... I feel old all of a sudden  

Only a youngster then Steve  ;)

There are some very lucky young peeps around here  :0

I had to wait till' the mortgage was paid and the kids grown up,

the wife keeps telling me its time I grew up  ???

There are indeed some lucky young peeps on here! I had a business to build, children to build and a mortgage to unbuild and sadly fun cars didn't come into my planning until 1999 when I realised that I had built the company, had kept on building the house and would bever clear the mortgage until I retired and my two sons were fully built and had full time jobs resulting in them having more fun cars than I had - well I couldn't let that happen now could I?

Best thing I ever did, both the build and the driving pleasure ..... I will never grow up ( I hope ) ....

Built Westfield with Dad who was 50% owner in 1996 in 6 weeks from Modular kit.

Now getting sprinting bug, and twinges of upgrade-itus.

I know how you feel, Spent 6 yrs restoring an MGB when I was 16 only to part with it when the kids came along ??? it had been in the family for 10 yrs.

Still now I've got a westy  much more fun!!!!! :D:d:D

Your as old as you feel or somethng like that ??????  :D

Still what have I done :durr:  SWMBO is on the insurance and is now fighting me for the drive!!!

But there is method in my madness, Well we will have to build ME another one, so that you can have the old one  his & hers!!!! tee hee :D
