S8ight Posted June 27, 2004 Posted June 27, 2004 dont suppose anyones got or knows of any decent templates for CV's ? Quote
7SE Posted June 27, 2004 Posted June 27, 2004 It's not the template but the content! That cheap comment aside, get your hands on a copy of "Great answers to tough interview questions" by Martin John Yate (WHSmiths stock it). Excellent book, discusses various CV layouts and goes on to cover all aspects of job hunting Quote

Chris.B Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 . I have rectently attended a 3 day cource on CV writing and interviews. I had to write my own CV for the cource, which i have to say is pretty impressive!! In my job I interview "lots" of people & read loads of CV's. Amongst the biggest turn off's in a CV are:Bad spelling Verbosity & rambling CVs. Please don't simply rely on Bill Gates spell checkers and for goodness sake read what you have written Quote
