Well,

Its home... a few pictures for you as promised.  If you want to read all my waffle go read the post on xtr2.net

The new 'sporty burble' exhaust.  I've seen longer systems on Drag bikes.  A fair bit louder than the one on the factory '4 - need to do a noise test for bedford.

At this moment in time I should be driving up to Doncaster from Derby to get some miles on the car and show my rally driver bro (he can't understand all this precise track driving stuff LOL) - but its been pi$$ing it down :(

The rain has now stopped - where did I put the steering wheel  :D

Craig and I would like to thank everyone at the factory for building and preparing such a great car for us.

Some of you wanted to know about the 'optional extras' as seen on the car at the motorshow - unfortunately we are unable to negotiate a deal  ;)  - but you can still see where they once sat LOL.

Fronts are 7x15

Rears are 8x15

glad you are liking it folks.  I'm going to try and get to the midlands meet on thursday so maybe I'll see you then.

Looks fantastic !

What gearbox/axle does it use ?

Factory reckon this package is approx 200bhp.  The car is on lower boost map at the moment too until we get up the miles and we do some diagnostics.  Torque is good.  Uses a KKK K3 with integral wastegate.  Needs a RWD dyno near derby ... anyone ???

Transaxle is Audi.  Its a 5 speeder with LSD - ratios are quite nice - especially with the turbo and masses of torque.

Ian, NICE WHEEEELS (radio 1 quote)

Ian regards to rollers, there is a place north side of Chesterfield where my car has been done with the previous owner and I know of others who have used them, the guys that run the place are very knowledgable and have worked on my tintop in the past.  As a bonus one of the partners owns a very very nice westie with a Fiat lump you have to see the build to believe it.  I am planning to attend the area meet on Thursday hope to see you and the car then.

Cheers

Gareth :D
