Chester Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 Hi, The only view to have in Leicestershire on Sunday is Shaw's at Mallory Westfield and Cateringvan racing. They will have the usual selection of burger vans and you should be able to keep your motor in view at all times. Seriously, don't know of anywhere with decent outside seating but there is a nice place in Bitteswell just off the A5 and a place I tried recently was on the A47 just the Leicester side of the Cateringvan dealer. Strange system of pricing - the price you pay for 2 meals is the time you order the food. For example if you order at 6:55pm then you pay £6.55 for 2 average quality bar meals. Mark Quote

Couldn't tell you where it was though Would have been a great day out, unmarred to the point where the heavens opened as I was returning home down the M69. Christ these things can aquaplane, took all my concentration to keep it on the black stuff Quote
