XTR2Turbo Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 Try admiral online - was about 40% cheaper for me last week on my new Z4. They are apparently trying to come to market so might be trying to artificially boost their business short term. David Quote
Martin Keene Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 Girlfriend pays £500 a year TPFT on a micra worth ~£150... Although she has only passed her test 6 months ago. Quote
Blatman Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 Although she has only passed her test 6 months ago. Please tell me she's 17 and a half..... I insured my TD Mundano with Elephant for well under 400 quid. And they've been excellent with enquiries and general customer service. Reccommended. Quote
oioi Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 gf pays £650/month on £500 fista. 1st year of driving. Hopefully next year she will see the light and buy an MG midget (i have a real hankering after an MG midget with an R1 engine in it). Quote

markh1970 Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 Had my Golf R32 insured with DirectLine - came to £900, switched to Admiral, now £500. Prompt service, and sorted a new windscreen after the old one cracked in under 2 days! Oh but joy, it took the RAC windscreen 2 hours to get the screen off, something to do with it being well and truly 'kin glued Quote
Nick.Petty Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 ***********thread hijack *********** what do you make of your R32? I have had me eye on them for a while to see if the prices will drop for a previously owned one, with say 10,000 miles on the clock They look and sound mint but whaddya reckon to the drive? Nick. S8ight Posted June 3, 2004 Author Posted June 3, 2004 looks like it could be time to go back to a traders policy Quote
