Come on Westfield - we know you lurk on this forum so why not come out in the open and join in ??

Open up a bit and stop being so touchy and you never know, maybe the relationship with your customers will improve to everyone's benefit ?

Totally agree Nick,

Westfield now have a perfect opportunity to turn this initial negative clitch into something positive.

Like any good business this is now your perfect stage for some real PR.

All your potential customers are here on the forum waiting for your response.

Go on, you know you want to........

But Nick - I wasn't running or hiding - just a months holiday that's all without e-mail access altough I did have my phone with me, just glad I kept that quiet.    :d  And yes the reception was excellent even 12,000 miles away.

I'll get me coat.  :)  Will the last one to leave please put the cat out.  :p

Hi Nick,

I agree with you, the way Westfield contacted Furtive seems, from what he says, less than professional.

I work as a consultant and use e-mail every minute of every day of my working life (as I'm sure a lot of people here do).  The thing is - in this electronic age, we all expect instant replies to e-mails (I know my clients do).  But if you have a long weekend or a day off, the proverbial hits the fan when you get back!

Jon

But you failed to mention that most email systems have an 'out of office facility' and most professionals use it and Chris is very professional so no excuses there!.

Westfield have much improved and generally have progressed in the right direction but sometimes 'knee jerk' reactions do take place and obviously this guy @ Westfield(who ever he was)  never intended to leave his name.It was just a shame that Furtive didn't ask. but sometimes when someone has got U wound up, quality thinking occasionally goes out the window.

All I would say is yeah they should have come back 2 u asap as a customer service aspect, but as John said they may well have been doing other things or even investigating the matter and for sure a quick email 2 say ' we are investigating the incident etc' would and should have been the appropriate response.

However all is not lost,Chris did come back 2 you and did offer a bespoke service for narrow bodied cars... can't knock him for that!

I bet u wished u kept yr keyboard quiet now!!:d

Buzz :)
