AndrewBClarke Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I always look forward to trips out in my Westy with friends but it doesn't always go to plan! Two hours from home at the start point for a Peak District day out and a flat rear tyre thanks to a screw. @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO rummages in his boot to produce an air compressor and re-inflates the trye at regular intervals which enabled me to continue with the day out. Obviously he couldn't follow me on the long trip home, so a call in to @Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative and Glens and I'm lent a compressor, foot pump etc and after a few stops I got home safely. Next trip out I was presented with my own compressor, donated by @Andy Wallwork, fetched by @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman)and all organised by @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO. What a brilliant club we have where people put themselves out to help. Many thanks to all my Westy friends 9 Quote
