Hedley Bennett (HB46443) - Club Chairman Posted Wednesday at 20:50 Posted Wednesday at 20:50 Awesome Andy. Warm welcome. Looking forward to those questions! As for arriving on the back of a truck. Most of us have lived that one. Do consider starting a build thread over here - https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/forum/103-build-diaries/ A great place to attract the very knowledgeable folks on here! Look forward to meeting you out and about with the club. HB. 1 Quote
Captain Colonial Posted Wednesday at 22:31 Posted Wednesday at 22:31 Crazy is just a state of mind! You’ll get lots of help here, especially spending money on upgrades… This area is where you can download build manuals, which could prove invaluable. Good luck - we’re all counting on you. 1 1 Quote
John Dolan - Wirral & North Wales AO Posted Wednesday at 22:54 Posted Wednesday at 22:54 Andy, Crazy is a word often used with Westfield builds. Yes, you're crazy to take this on, do yourself and your sanity a favour and back out now. It's not too late to save yourself. Think of the hours you're going to spend on the internet, looking for advice from people who don't know what a Westfield is, the keyboard warriors of the kit car world. Yes that part will fit, possibly. And I have one in stock, here's the payment details for my bank in Roumania. Otherwise, welcome to the club, also known as the madhouse. Good luck. John. 1 1 Quote
DannyTGS Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Welcome aboard, I chose the lazier, ready built and running option as I was sick of a previous project and just wanted to get out and drive, plus I do this for a living and one thing I've learned is once Ive finished work I don't want to work on my own stuff, kinda wish I knew that before starting my career as id have chosen something else so my love for working on cars wouldn't dampen, now i need a pay cheque to get me motivated and i don't pay myself haha Quote
