@Stuart@Euan Hoosearmy I'm actually based in Haslemere, with many potential non-motorway routes.  The quickest would take me west out to Winchester.  I could be easily convinced to scrap the idea of towing in favour of a numb bum if there's a possibility of an early Saturday morning convoy...

@AwB I won't be going crack of dawn; prob leave Romsey 0830ish. Happy to hook up en route if it suits. Thinking of going Marlborough way this year to avoid the A34
