Anderton Boat Lift.

We will be visiting the Anderton Boat Lift on the 17th May.

We will have a display area reserved for our Westfields, there is a nice cafe for breakfast and canal boat rides are available if you fancy something a bit more leisurely. Please let me know if you can attend so we can ensure we have enough spaces reserved.

Always wanted to visit this but it's a tad far from Hampshire in a Westy.....

Looks interesting, but just seen this on their web site: "Please note: The lift is currently closed due to a fault discovered during routine maintenance. It will reopen once repair works are complete, expected early 2027. Keep an eye on this page for updates on the repairs."

No event, sorry. The lift is not in service due to a mechanical fault and will not be operating again this year.

Still should be an interesting visit.
