While that might be a great time out for those interested, there’s no mention (yet) of car clubs at all.  Reluctantly and sadly, I fear there will be no club 40th anniversary parade lap around Silverstone this year - a real pity. ☹️

Hi Scott, The CarFest replaces the Silverstone Festival but the return of the reimagined Silverstone classic is a week or two before. This is for the car clubs.  As yet, I am unaware of the organiser of the new Silverstone classic event, but we are still hopeful of a parade lap once they are in place.  @Martin Aldred - Shows & Events Coordinator Do you know anything different?

My apologies, my mistake, you are correct.  It’s going to be called the BRDC Classic now, from 24-26 July.  Not much info yet, though.  My wedding anniversary is right in the middle of that, too.  Best start collecting cred points now…

@Hedley Bennett (HB46443) - Club Chairman I've sent an email to the trade team at Silverstone as there's no other way of making contact to ask about a club display area.  I'll let you know once I have a reply

Close - 39th.  If it was my 40th, there wouldn’t be enough cred points on Earth I could cash in to attend.
