iOS 26…. Is it worth doing?

I’m curious as I have heard negative feedback on the latest iOS 26 …. Just slowing phone with yet more heavy OS. Currently on iOS 18.6
 

I’m sure it has a ton of new features, where 95% I will never need?

 

Anyone downgrading to iOS 18 from iOS 26?

 

my phone is iPhone 15 pro about 18months old

I’m on 26 and it seems fine. iPhone 16 pro max with 256gb so might be due to phone specs?

Working fine on my 13 for several months. I switched off all the 'glass' effects and my battery usage was quite high for a few days then it settled down.

 

The call filtering function is worth using.

Not in a rush to go onto iOS 26… my work iPhone SE has it but I think being a work phone it may have features removed. I can’t see the ‘glass’ option or call filtering. 
I don’t see the point having latest iOS then disabling features

My work iPhone SE has just had iOS 26 loaded to it. It looks OK and seems to work the same. That said I don't use it much and would never have an iPhone for personal use. I hate them 😆  But personal choice I guess.
