Volunteer Opportunity – Compliance and Risk Lead

 

The Westfield Sports Car Club (WSCC) is looking for a volunteer Compliance and Risk Lead. 

 

As the club continues to grow, we remain committed to maintaining high standards of safety, good governance, and compliance with Motorsport UK and legal requirements. This new volunteer role will help us review policies, assess and manage risks, and support organisers to ensure all WSCC activities remain safe and sustainable.

 

What’s Involved

 

Advising the committee on compliance, safety, and insurance matters

Reviewing policies and maintaining the club’s risk register

Supporting event organisers with risk assessments and safety planning

Promoting a strong culture of safety and responsibility across the club

Working collaboratively with other committee members, regional organisers, and volunteers to ensure best practice and consistent standards

Liaising with insurance providers and developing a working understanding of relevant policies and coverage

 

Who We’re Looking For

 

We’re seeking someone with experience in compliance, governance, risk management, or insurance, ideally with an understanding of motorsport or club operations. You’ll be organised, pragmatic, and confident working with others in a volunteer environment.

 

Time Commitment

Approximately 2–4 hours per month, flexible.
