NotMcGoohan Posted Wednesday at 22:05 Posted Wednesday at 22:05 Not registered on Q plate until 2007 this Pinto engined black gelcoat 1992 kit was orignally used as a track day vehicle. It was put through a hedge in 2009 and again in 2012... this time it was stripped for repair. Replacement front (Cortina) wishbones were acquired but the car was never rebuilt. All parts other than bushes and a few bushes, nuts and bolts appear to be present. However, although the car comes with both motor cycle and clamshell front wings together with bonnet and nosecone, all require various repairs of f/glass repair. Car has 5 spd type 9 box. 2.0 litre Pinto engine had been removed and turns but overall condition is unknown. Removed but included are a pair of 40DCOES on mainfold as well as exhaust system. Car has two sets of alloys and road legal track day tyres. Car can be viewed on Worcestershire/Shropshire border by appointment. Price is a negotiable £2300.
NotMcGoohan Posted 11 hours ago Author Posted 11 hours ago Bottom line is £1900 in order to avoid lots of interaction by selling parts separately. If it is 'broken' for spares then the value could be quite a bit higher! For example, the pre 2019 mod windscreen pillars are worth £200+ each! Windscreen £150. Two complete sets of allys (ignoring the tyres) would fetch at least £400. NEW front wishbones are like hens teeth... ergo another £500. Then there is the axle, gearbox, engine and twin Webers. I could go on!!
