We are planning to leave Tamworth around 8.30am for the drive up to GBS. Anyone want to join us for the drive or just meet us at the event?

A little bit of miscommunication meant that we didn't meet up with Tim for the drive up to GBS, but we met there instead. Both Tim Lawton and Andrew Clarke had to leave early due to other commitments, so that left us and my friend Mark to head to the cafe for lunch. After an excellent lunch, Mark made his own way home in his BMW, whilst we headed out to the 'Wings of Freedom', Lancaster memorial just off the A46. We took some pics from the viewing point in the nearby road. It looked fantastic in the sunshine!

I passed there a couple of weeks ago on the way to Norfolk. Couldn't get close enough for decent photos.
