It can also help when in convoys to see if all make it through roundabouts/traffic lights etc. You'll be impressed in @Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative non digital navigation aids and her skills in finding great, quiet roads away from the busy areas are legendary! She does a cracking job! 2 Quote

I'm pretty good with convoys and keeping my eye where people are going even if traffic between us from my old car cruising days, but the live location can be useful for sure, my google maps says its an hour and a half going the road way, id prefer to take 15min longer and use that route than sit on the M6 i think so ill set off just before 8.30am and knowing my "Abiding the speed limits speedo that i swear isn't accurate" I should make it on time lol 3 Quote
Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO Posted Saturday at 16:16 Posted Saturday at 16:16 It’s an hour and a half for me too, 53 miles from Sunny Oldham👍 Quote

So your doing the A6 through High lane, chapel into Buxton? But are you aiming for the 10am meet point? If so I could continue up the airport link road and meet you at the Royal Oak, Buxton Rd, High Lane, Stockport SK6 8AY at 9am? Quote
