How many of you have just winced at the term 'Christmas' ??

 

And yes - November - is not a typo. Wanted to keep things fresh and obviously start the season with a bang. Having learnt from last year, this is not the Classic Car Show weekend so no need to double stack your social life! Also being early hopefully avoids double booking so we can eat more Christmas Dinners in the season and no need to eat two on the same day!

 

Location - The Bentley Brook Inn, Fenny Bentley, Ashbourne, Derbyshire DE6 1LF

 

Open to any member of the WSCC plus partner and also Club Sponsors, but numbers are limited so PLEASE RESERVE YOUR SPACE ASAP.

 

Cost - your choice of two or three courses from the menu below - £25.95 for 2 courses or £28.95 for three. All drinks, coffees, or extras can be bought from the bar.

 

Like last year, the venue would like me to collect the payments so I will need your money and confirmation BEFORE THE 15TH OCTOBER. I do not plan on chasing people for money (you were all good last year!) so please pay up now. If the money is not received by the 15th November, I'll have to assume you are not coming.

 

I can give a full refund of any payments up to the point when the numbers have been confirmed (ie the 15th October) but after that, refunds will be at the discretion of the venue. I have already paid the deposit back in November last year!

You could make a weekend of it. The Bentley Brook Inn has rooms on a B&B basis and all the details are on their website - www.bentleybrookinn.co.uk 

 

We are staying over and going to see the Chatsworth House Christmas Decorations on the Sunday - www.chatsworth.org  Last year we went to the Chatsworth Christmas Market but learnt that the cost of the parking was high. The parking is free if you pay to look round the house making it better value for money.
