I have a very simple question 

 

I have a mega bec that i fancy doing a couple of events with next year 

 

I will be looking to be entering road going class

 

My car when it left the westfield factory didnt have a reverse gearbox fitted the car has never needed one to pass an mot so why does it need one fitted to compete ??

It's most likely a safety issue Ash.  Quicker to reverse than to have to unbelt, get out, run to one end and push. Under certain circumstances I'd imagine a reverse box adds safety, at least in their rules, regs and minds for exiting that set of circumstances more speedily.

I did think that steve but i was hoping somebody that helps run the 7s could give me the factual reason why its needed .
