Popular Post DaiEvora Posted September 8 Popular Post Posted September 8 I’ve been a Westfield fan for very many years having gone to the factory very many years ago with my brother in law to collect his pre litigation 7 kit. I’ve watched the car being built and over the years morphing into a track orientated vehicle. Over a few beers on the weekend the potential sale of the weapon was muted so I thought why not buy it and then decide what to do with it. Offer accepted and it looks like I’ll soon be a Westfield owner hoping that many on here will be able to assist in my plans for it. 10 Quote
Rob Hunter - Club Secretary Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Brilliant! Post up some photos and specs when you can, a track focused pre-lit sounds very interesting! Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Wonderful, and welcome; we don’t see many track focused prelims, like Rob said - will be great to see photos and hear more! 1 Quote
DaiEvora Posted September 9 Author Posted September 9 Thank you for the warm welcome I will post up photos once the deal is completed which may not be for a week or so. I’m sure on here there will be many willing to give advice as I proceed with the next chapter of its progress. I am a lifelong Lotus fan and currently own an Evora GT410 Sport. Living in west Wales I also organise an annual Pembrokeshire Driving event for the Lotus Drivers Club along with one other annual Wales based event. 5 Quote
DannyTGS Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Welcome from another newbie, too late in the year now for me but I'm really hoping to get out on track numerous times next year, already shopping for trailers 1 Quote

Rob Hunter - Club Secretary Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Looks lovely, not many engines sound quite as good as a xflow on twin webers 3 Quote

Looking to put it back to predominantly road use and the odd track day and sprint/hillclimb maybe. First stage of the lan is to get it onto a rolling road to sort the engine and to maybe replace the existing straight cut four speed gearbox. interior will need seats etc sorted but it’s a great looking project and a car I know the complete history of. 3 Quote
DaiEvora Posted September 25 Author Posted September 25 Finally got to have a good look at my acquisition the plate on it says it 87 SE 205 so I’m presuming it’s an early pre lit build. It comes with a carrier bag of invoices and early literature. Lots of spares as well so over the winter it’s going to a local specialist to sort ready for next season. Best bit of the visit to view today my wife like it (at the moment)😂 2 Quote
