Richard jolley Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) Just purchased my first Westfield, still a pinch me moment as I’ve always wanted one. This is an absolute blast and before being a little un loved it clearly had a tonne spent on it, I’m hoping to find the builder who I believe is @djtom would love to get a bit more info on it as it now needs a bit of love and would be a blinder if this is correct and you have the time to help! if it helps it’s the British racing green with the lighter green nose cone and go faster stripes! Mathew Vernon - Membership Secretary Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Hi @Richard jolley, welcome to the club, and congratulations on your purchase. Is it this car? Looks like a very well sorted car having been rebuilt from the chassis up a couple of years ago, and at a cracking price. There’s a wealth of knowledge in the forum, and people will be more than happy to help you. Is there anything in particular you feel you would like to change about the car? Regularly given advice is to drive it as much as possible so you can decide areas you wish to improve upon to suit your specific requirements. Mat 3 Quote

I’m over the moon with it! always wanted one, and yes this is the original thread which I found and safe to say I was blown away by the spec list as the owner I bought it from knew nothing…. havent had a chance to get stuck in driving it properly as the clutch is slipping, and I want to do a full service with all fluids and timing belt before I go crazy. Which is where the questions come in, I don’t know what parts or fluids to use regards rich Edited 6 hours ago by Richard jolley Grammar error 1 Quote
Mathew Vernon - Membership Secretary Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Quick search for 4AGE turned up a couple of threads 1) Looks like there was a previous for sale advert for your chassis back in 2023, with photos showing how straight it all is. Not sure if the rebuild of the car is on the forum somewhere, but judging by the appearance of it it now, and all of the parts used then someone spent a lot of time, effort and money on it There’s also a thread discussing oil grade for the 4AGE here. It is quite old but might be of use to you 2 Quote

Rob Hunter - Club Secretary Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Welcome! The 4AGE is a brilliant engine, Silva/RAW used them to great effect in the Striker. You'll get loads of help on here. There's also a good YouTube channel called Tea N'Bizz-Kits featuring Bizzle and his supercharged 4AGE Striker. We met him at Newark last year Quote

Richard jolley Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago So I’m now a fully fledged member! Can I get some pointers on navigating the forum, I really need to find out what clutch set up this has I’m on the understanding it’s a sierra friction plate and release bearing with a Toyota pressure plate? also what gearbox oil should I use (type 9) I’m looking at millers 75/80 fully synthetic its for a sierra lsd diff and I’m looking at millers 75/90 fully synthetic which states it’s ok for LSD im also a big fan of millers motorsport oils used them in previous vehicles with zero issues and noticeable improvements just want to get it back up to a good standard where I know exactly where it is! many thanks!! 3 Quote
