What an epic thread this is! I am so envious. Sadly I think maybe I've left it too late in life to deal with a mega trip like this, so for now I have to live vicariously. Thanks for the amazing write up @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO!

What an amazing trip and hats off to you for doing it with an aero screen.

 

I'll be back again in September this year, but in a tin top. It must leave you with a great sense of achievement after having conquered such an epic tour in a very impractical car, well done.

If you've never been Steve, you really should. Even in one of your other cars, the sights are just amazing as you can see from Ian's pictures.

Yep. My helmet was on the car, but didn't leave the helmet box all trip!

Great write and photos up on your trip Iain, hopefully this might inspire others to take the plunge and get their Westfield out on these great roads. We had a blast when we did it.
