Spam Attack

Some scumbag or group of scumbags (collective noun, anyone?) using a VPN decided to do a spam attack on the boardroom at lunchtime today, with about 15 different accounts (so far) signing up and immediately dropping spam posts around the board in about 20 minutes.

 

As a consequence, I’ve had to go backstage, ban each account and ramp up the security settings so that Admins have to approve new accounts before they become active.  This may inconvenience new genuine members for the time being, but it will stop the spam post flurry and I’ll do my best to stay on top of it.
