Which polishing compound?

Afternoon all.  I'm getting a DA polisher for my birthday this week - what polishing compound should I use on the Westy please?  It's already shiny but there's lots of swirls and few light scratches I'd like to get rid of.

 

Someone recommended Farecla G3 but there's lots of different versions of that.  Any info/tips for a novice would be most welcome.  Thanks

I'm astounded this got no replies. I thought the club would have loads of expert detailers. Or have I asked a stupid question?

I have used Farecla G3 (yellow bottle) on cars for year with no problems. Haven’t used it on my westy before but wouldn’t have any issues in using it.

I also use water with it, less likely to burn the paint. It will get messy, well for me it does lol

@Jason_B thanks but which compound for polishing? From what I can see they're all yellow bottles and there seems to be lots of different grades

I’ll have to check what I have a work tomorrow but I believe G3 is regular grade.

@Jason_B there's definitely a whole range all called G3 🙄
