After all the excitement of the big show at the weekend, the fun doesn’t stop!

 

It’s the Kitnet pub meet at The Anchor Inn pub tomorrow evening. A nice pub with a big car park next to it overlooking Tintern Abbey, usually a great spot for some stunning photos. Everyone welcome.

Looks good. I’m disappointed I couldn’t make it. I jumped in the car yesterday and it wouldn’t start, nothing at all from the starter motor. 
 

I did some advanced diagnostics (I hit it with a hammer and it started clicking but still not starting) and it looks like I need a new starter motor.

 

Given that it’s been on the car 28 years now and it may have been second hand then, it’s probably fair to say I’ve got my moneys worth out of it.

It was nice of it to stop working at home rather than at Malvern or Tintern, so I’m thankful for that. 
 

still, a bit gutted I couldnt make it, please come back over another time please.

Oh that’s a shame!

Good luck with the fix. I’ve been through a few starter motors so I’d say you’ve definitely had your money’s worth out of one that old!
